 The Delaware Valley Science Council (DVSC) is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization registered with the State of Pennsylvania, which was formed in 1946 and incorporated in 1953 as the Philadelphia Science Council. The name was changed in 1993 to reflect the geographic area served by the Council. Since its inception, the DVSC has been an all-volunteer organization and is administered by a Board of Directors who serve three-year terms. All DVSC programs are administered without regard to race, creed, nationality, or gender.
